My photography has evolved thru different stages over
the past ten years. I started out shooting mostly landscapes
and became very frustrated! I started searching for a way to
express my own creativity through photography. It's not
that shooting sunsets and rocks is boring to me, just type
sunsets in on google and a thousand excellent pictures will
immediately pop up!

The next phase of my development was shooting models.
This period of time that I spent was very important to me!
I learned so much about lighting, perspective and how to use
my camera properly.

In March 2011 I saw that Nina Simone's daughter Simone
was performing at the Dakota so I brought my camera along.
The few pictures that I took came out reasonably well. I then
started bringing my camera to other live shows where I
discovered that its a challenge to get good pictures in poorly
lit venues!
The experience I have gained in the last five years has given me the
knowledge to express my creativity in photography in my own way!
